I believe there's magic in life even though I have no interest in talking about religions or it's miraculous influences. I think we've all had magic in our lives. Some of us, who are lucky, still do. Magic gave us the opportunity to meet new people, do awesome things, encounter exciting events, fall in love, etc. It gave us will to carry on when all hope is lost. It strengthens our faith when we try not to believe. It makes every life colourful. It makes every moment memorable.
I just hope magic was enough for me to hold on to. Because the memories are starting to fade. The magic has lost its spark. The unchained are beginning to meld. The uncommon has been too little for any of us to count on or look forward to.
I try to smile but it's in vain when you're gone.
I try to stay but it's in vain when you're far.
I try to run but my past is always behind me.
I'm on the run to wherever you are.
Do you believe in magic? It's time to believe it.
Because, my friend, having you here, is the uncommon magic in my life.
I just wish I'm the magic in yours too.

p/s: I just found out that the last post I wrote was actually written on Friday the 13th. Not that the day means anything to me but hey, you've heard the stories. Haha.
