The Most Of Every Day

It has been a while since I came here just to blog about things as mundane as my everyday life. If you have noticed, yes, I've made some changes to the blog posts so that 1) I can get some peace of mind and 2) I wouldn't have to worry about random people asking me how I'm doing.

I do appreciate you reading this. Flattered, I am. But please please don't come up to me and ask me how things between me and you-know-who are going or how I'm coping with the breakup. Trust me, I'm fine. I'm better than fine. I'm free. And so is he.

Back to not talking about him, here's what I've been doing for the past few weeks.

My Film Group. Meet the Cool Beans Production Crew.
We were actually quite exhausted with the shooting.

Well, Jasmine and I were a little more tired because we went
for a little swim when the rest was taking their breaks.
The two retards posing before going into the
ice-cold blue. We took a lot of naked pictures.
Lucky you I lost them.

Besides Film, I had to interview Will for my
News-Writing final assignment. And I bought him
Starbucks because he'd been nice all the while.
A nice guy with a great sense of humor.
Too bad, ladies. He's taken.

And I finally settled in with Andre.
Meet my new roommate.
Er, soon-to-be-ex-roommate.
I'm moving to somewhere really far from PJ for work
and also to stop myself from doing stupid things.

On the 7th of March, I traveled to Kuantan
in Arthur's car to attend Ms Naomi's wedding. We stayed in
a motel ran by Daniel's grams. Here's the beach.
Yeah, it didn't look that fun or inviting to me as well.

So I guess Mel wasn't that left out after all.
She probably had to visit the doctor's anyway.
From how she looks in
this picture, she probably
needs a house call more than I did.

I was being a little emotional.
Pardon my emo-ness.
I
thought I'd make it to the beach with someone.

But I guess friends are good enough. They can
give you great company with loadsa laughter.
Even without the sex.
Because we're just humans, after all.
Small, tiny humans. With big, complicated emotions.

I still am an easily jealous person who can't afford a DSLR.
So when you look at this picture...
You think I'd be thinking:
"
Wow, nice camera! Nice pictures!"
But I was actually thinking:
"
You effing loaded beyotches.."

Alright, we finally made it to the dinner.
In fact, we were the firsts to have made it there.
The other Malaysians following "Malaysian Time Rule"
were obvs late. Which means we had time to camwhore.

Prime example? Me and ma lady friend Adele.
Both of us wore Malay costumes.
Me likey myself in
baju melayu biggie time.

The food was finger licking good. Even though I didn't literally use any of my fingers. I had three plates of scented rice with loads of very very VERY yummeh spicy food. It was the first time I had a totally spicy meal. Heck, it was the first time I attended a Malay wedding. Everything was red hot (even the drink was rose syrup, and you thought Chinese were hardcore Red arses) but the food was just heavenly. I loved every last bit of the spiciness. So yeah, who has some curry to offer?

Oh, we got Ms Naomi and Lars a little bit of something.Knowing me, I had to pose with it.

Well, at least we made it to see the bride and groom
at the end of the dinner.
Ms Naomi was practically telling everyone that
we were her students. I guess she really loved teaching.
Congrats to the both of them. Even though I wasn't
feeling too alright when they used
Better Together as one
of their wedding songs.

Before heading back, we posed together for
some
not-really-formal-but-who-cares group pictures.
Wait till you see the others.
(From left) Arthur, Adele, Jeaney, me, Divya, Shivani,
Daniel and my lovely team lead Eman.

So yeah, now I'm back in Ipoh again, blogging as the rest are off to Langkawi for an unofficial final class trip. I really do want to be there. At least I could buy some Reese's Peanut Butter. But my mom is going to Korea and my dad would really appreciate me fetching my brothers to and from school everyday. Well, he did get me a 37k car. And he did raise me. So.. yeah. I'm not really complaining about being here. I even had a reunion dinner with some relatives from Singapore. Here's one of em.

My 3rd Gu Po.
She said I looked ugly with this hair.
And yes, ugly, was the word.

Alright. That probably sums up most of the things I did. I'll be sticking around in Ipoh (which would mean I'm missing the Langkawi Trip, Sandra's birthday party, Tsu Yi's birthday party, the Genting trip, the Sunway Lagoon trip and Daniel's birthday party, FUCK!) and I'm only going back on the coming Wednesday so that I can go for a dinner and a movie with a friend I haven't gone out in a long time; Jason. Hopefully Marianne and Wykit can join us. Going for breakfast with Bern on Thursday. Packing, again, after the meetup so I can be ready to move out all the way to KL. Going to LimKokWing on Friday with a friend from Ipoh to help her check out the college. Meeting Jon on Saturday and getting ready for my first job as a media person on Sunday. Okay, yeah, basically I don't have plans on Sunday so..Let's go out!

I hope work would completely occupy my mind. The truth is, I am starting to get disgusted by my increasingly nostalgic preoccupation with the past. It is a weakness I can scarcely afford if I really intend to go on. (And yes, you, I edited this part. Geez.)

Well, at least shopping helped a bit. I spent RM288 today on a pair of Clarks. They feel just as good as they look. And I'm gonna be wearing them to work! Yeeeehar!

Oh, check THIS out :D

It's just full of tired excuses,
Kevin C.

Haha, I haven't smoked in 3 days! More power to me. But yeah, it was a one-time thing. I guess. Or five. Anyway, I'm fine. And I scrubbed. So I look alright now.

Wish me luck at work.
