Angel's Suitcase (Part 1)

Hey folks. September finally rolled in and due to my hectic college and gym and outing schedule I don't have quite much time to keep in touch with y'all. So I'm promising something even better. I'll be posting 10 songs this month onwards. All my personal favorites from the album 'Angel's Suitcase' from Zhao Wei. So if you don't have anything to read elsewhere and you feel that you need some good music to loosen you up (all puns intended), here are some goodies for you.

1. Old Toy (click here to download)

Maybe my hatred towards you is fading
After all this time I finally see what kind of lover you are
We're so over arguing about who's fault it was

I don't anymore wanna hear you say sorry
I don't anymore want your love
You're already a past
Just get out of my mind

You won't find a new toy
When you've got an old one hanging around
You know, I know
Even you said that there's a hot girl right there
Leave me alone, leave me alone
Just go do your thing

Don't just simply love me
Take all your rubbish with you
You've always been selfish
Don't just simply love me
Keep doing all the wrong things
Just let me have my freedom
Don't just simply love me
I don't wanna be let down
You'll always be lonely
Don't just simply love me
What can your love give me anyway?
I rather go home or walk away

(Note: The background music of the song is AWESOME)

2. Track 5: Butterfly (Click here to listen)

I chase for my dreams, all my life, never afraid of getting disappointed
In my heart, I've always believed that one day we'll meet again
Every time I fly, it's another long winding journey
But it doesn't mean just because I fight, I'd definitely touch the sky

I rest on the tip of a branch, having the most ridiculous dreams
I touch the heart of people but not because I want to be worshiped
No matter the dreams inside are gone or blurry
I can't choose to go back to my cocoon

Quietly, I see who I really need in my life
Quietly, I get used to the coldest of winds
I want to fly, no matter who those tears were for
I want to spread my wings and raise into the sky
I want my own freedom

I chase for my dreams, all my life, never afraid of getting disappointed
In my heart, I've always believed that one day we'll meet again
I'd go under every flower
Looking for the face of true admiration
When I look into this city there's still a radiant sky
Once I leave my cocoon everything will become the past
As long as I understand you, anything is possible

Update from Kevin:

1. I'm getting a new phone!! Dad got me the Nokia "Multimedia Computer" N73. Ooh! I've always wanted to get an N-series phone. They have the best features. I'll do a review on the phone soon. Hopefully I'll get the soon on next week when my dad comes by to KL. He's going to Beijing with his friends so I'm asking for some stuff, again.

2. Mass Media Law is actually quite interesting. But it being interesting has nothing to do with what I feel towards the subject because it's just SO complicated! Okay, maybe that's a little too over-the-top. I'm not the kind who pays too much attention in class, that must be the problem.

3. I hosted an event for the KDU's School Of Business and Administration last night. It was an early celebration for the Chinese Mooncake Festival. Small crowd but awesomely enthusiastic. It wasn't the best event I've hosted but it was my best performance. I'm not bragging or anything but the whole show would've gone down if I wasn't there to give them help and advice. The organization was baaaaad. But hey, it turned out well so.. Yay!

4. I'm having a rash!! The first time!! It hurts!! And it's so itchy!!

5. Greg is still in Czech Republic. He called last night with a pay-phone. He scored the highest for his country. But the team didn't win because the opponents were too good.

That's it. I'm going out to have dinner with Shaz later, I think. I'll cya guys in a few days!

G&G,
Kev C.
