This time, this place, misused, mistakes
Too long, too late
Who was I to make you wait?
Just one chance, just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
Cause you know that I love yo
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go
I'll stop breathing if I don't see you anymore
Nickelback - Far Away
I had the biggest urge to go out just now. Maybe I'd wait for you downstairs until you come down. Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow morning if you don't show up tonight. But I didn't. Maybe after all I was too chicken shit. Maybe people like me really don't deserve to have second chances.
Okaaaay, before I scare people off with my ramblings... it's been a few crazy weeks at work. I'm finally here typing this because it's a weekend I'm not out and about. I actually 'worked' today as well. Sending a few emails to the guests that are coming to Venus next week. I wish the job didn't require me to call people or receive calls on weekends. It does.
Working at Venus has been as fun as it has been hectic. Waking up at 8:30 every morning hasn't been difficult at all (well, as long as I sleep before 1am the night before). I've moved back to somewhere in Damansara Jaya so going to work takes less than 20 minutes, which I'm quite happy about. Staying in Ampang was crazy because the traffic every morning could made me drive more than 3 hours everyday.

Back to Venus (I accidentaly typed Benus there, lol), the workload is getting heavier but Jasmine and I have finally got a hang of it. We can actually still go on Facebook at work and surf unrelated website for personal pleasure during work hours. Oh, did I mention how much I like the people there? My colleagues are amazingly hilarious. My team lead brings us to lunch once or twice a week and sometimes we'll just have brunch outside the studio because Sheraton Subang is our FnB sponsor. They have really good fish qiches, by the way.

Free food (occasionally anyways), free concert and movie tickets, free hair and spa treatment, free CDs and magazines, meeting highly influential people and broadening social horizons. Yeah, those are the good part. Weird hours, last minute efforts, editing videos, running live shows, dealing with stuck-up people, getting used to cigarettes. Those are the low notes. And oh, before you think it's not that bad, wait till you see our post-mortem. Because the show is broadcasted live, a single wrong button will get you into deadly trouble.

I'm going to Thailand next weekend to shop and probably get a massage (gawd I need that) with my family. Haven't seen them much lately. Working at the station is so busy that I hardly feel that three weeks has past. Well, at least it helps me not think of my relationships.

Little Miss Jasmine's story is finally going on television.
So watch out for her (or her voice) on Venus.
Monday (14th April) on NTV7 at 11am.
Of me and you,
Kevin C.
